Go raibh mile maith ag gach duine a chabhraidh lenár gcupán tae ar maidin!
A big thank you to the Parents from junior infants, senior infants and first classes who baked beautiful confections and helped prepare a lovely welcoming cup of tea back in the Hall this afternoon. There are times when only a cup of tea will do….. and after any church ceremony or sacrament is one of these! The food was delightful and it is a great sign that this tradition- other classes hosting the post-Communion cup of tea- has now become embedded in the School.
Thank God the weather was kind to us- the Scairbhín was gentle with us today!
I witnessed it myself in St. Gabriel’s Church and Staff from both Belgrove Schools who were in the other churches today have told me that the boys and girls were beautifully turned out, excellently behaved and very reverential during the ceremony- so well done to all the boys and girls who received the Sacrament today- you were a source of pride to your Parents and the staff in your schools.
Finally- one of our boys has lost a very old and precious communion badge. It is engraved and very distinctive and was probably lost in the yard or hall today. If anyone knows anything about it, please let Marguerite know on Monday or send an email to the School account.
