A big thank you to Fr. Pat who came to the school today to distribute ashes to staff and pupils on this the first day of Lent 2019. As always, the boys were very well prepared by the teachers- a point mentioned to me by Fr. Pat. After a very simple ceremony, boys had a cross of ash applied to their forehead.
The blessing was a very simple one….Jesus loves you very much.
