Learning Support/Resource Department
Our learning support/resource teaching team currently consists of five full-time teaching positions. The LS/RT team collaborate with classroom teachers in
• supporting learning in the areas of maths and english
• providing opportunities for co-operative learning and improving social skills
• providing extra support in English language acquisition and improvement
• providing an early intervention programme
The team also help children with specific assessed learning needs. The teaching and learning hours for these children are allocated by the Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO), in our area.
